SONG OF NOW

The more you see the less you know
The less you find out as you go
I knew much more then than I do now

Neon heart, day-glow eyes
The city lit by fireflies
They're advertising in the skies
For people like us

And I miss you when you're not around
I'm getting ready to leave the ground

Oh you look so beautiful tonight
In the city of blinding lights

Don't look before you laugh
Look ugly in a photograph
Flash bulbs, purple irises the camera can't see

I've seen you walk unafraid
I've seen you in the clothes you've made
Can you see the beauty inside of me?
What happened to the beauty I had inside of me?

And I miss you when you're not around
I'm getting ready to leave the ground

Oh you look so beautiful tonight
In the city of blinding lights

Time...time....time...time...
Time won't leave me as I am
But time won't take the boy out of this man
Oh you look so beautiful tonight
Oh you look so beautiful tonight
Oh you look so beautiful tonight
Yeah, in the city of blinding lights

The more you know, the less you feel
Some pray for, others steal
Lessons not just for the ones who kneel
Luckily...

+ Blank CDs
+ Money...
+ iPod (owparuiYESeiropawyoerorgasmiOPEYWRO@#)
Specifics about the presents...
- The iPod is just awesome. Nuff said.
- Blankets... READ IT. It'll change your life. It has at least one thing (often times more) that you can relate to personally... just BUY IT. I can't say anything more. It's just fucking awesome. A bit disturbing at parts, a bit intense at parts, but it's all in good taste. Must read it about 500 times more. And the clerk who gave me mum Blankets suggested Jimmy Corrigan too. Tis a good book (awesome) but there are some parts that are just screwed up. You have to read them like 5 times to get what the hell's going on. And the book skips settings and times on practically every page, so you have to reread a lot. Still fun though.
- Pikmin 2 is the greatest. It's like Warcraft with adorable-yet-homocidal plant creatures instead of Orcs. And it makes my head hurt. But in a GOOD way.

- Wot else to say... hm. Oh yeah. ISP for the house keeps screwing around, so I'm off and on the internet constantly (hopefully it got fixed permenantly this time.) So... jah. Life without the internet is surprisingly limited. Played games, ate, drew (a helluva lot, need to color em and put em on deviantART) slept... blah blah blah)

- Me sistah be in St. Kitts... yay. Just thought you'd like to know.

Further events shall be posted.

Oh, and I changed the look. Of the blog. In case you didnt notice.

AND I added Led Heavy Productions and RADIOMARU to the art links.

SONG OF NOW

Satellite in my eyes
Like a diamond in the sky
How I wonder.
Satellite strung from the moon
And the world your balloon
Peeping tom for the mother station
Winter’s cold spring erases
And the calm away by the storm is chasing
Everything good needs replacing
Look up, look down all around, hey satellite
Satellite, headlines read
Someone’s secrets you’ve seen
Eyes and ears have been
Satellite dish in my yard
Tell me more, tell me more
Who’s the king of your satellite castle?
Winter’s cold spring erases
And the calm away by the storm is chasing
Everything good needs replacing
Look up, look down all around, hey satellite
Rest high above the clouds no resrictions
Television we bounce ’round the world
And while I spend these hours
Five senses reeling,
I laugh about the weatherman’s satellite eyes.
Satellite in my eyes
Like a diamond in the sky
How I wonder.
Satellite strung from the moon
And the world your balloon
Peeping tom for the mother station
Winter’s cold spring erases
And the calm away by the storm is chasing
Everything good needs replacing
Look up, look down all around, hey satellite
Rest high above the clouds no restrictions
Television you bounce from the world
And while I spend these hours
Five senses reeling
I laugh about this world in my satellite eyes.

I'm that nice black dude who is friends with everyone, who dresses in Roca Wear and Nike, yet lives in the richest-assed neighborhood ever, that listens to things varying from Coltrane to Modest Mouse to DJ Taka, and who is both emo and cheerful at the same time. In short, I'm just plain crazy.
