DONUT HANGOVER

Yes, it is possible.

- Okay, um, prom. To be totally simple, the dinner was awesome, prom was okay, and bowling at 1 in the morning while hyped up on Krispy Kreme is something everyone should experience once in their life.
Dinner was pretty quiet, until Marc spilled the water like 5 minutes into it, and then we were the loudest table there. And damn proud of it. Food was great and if we ever have a table that large with people as crazy as us, we must hold more Rock-Paper-Scissors/Telephone/Thumb War tourneys.
Prom... eh. The band rocked pretty hard playing-wise, but their singing could use improvement. Though that bass dude was... godly. GODLY I SAY. THAT GLOVE HE HAD MUST HAVE HAD INSANE BASS PLAYING ABILITIES. I must have it... Yeah, the band was cool, but the choices of music weren't. Maroon 5? Yes. But a GOOD Maroon 5 song. And they must actually know the words instead of sending Teneshia up there to sing... eehf. And yeah, dancing was almost null for me.
THEN WE WENT FOR KRISPY KREME.
AND THE NIGHT REACHED A NEW HIGH.
I had like... 6 or something, I lost count, and I couldn't go to sleep till 'round 4. Hyped up. Like a jillon bowls of liquid Cap'n Crunch being pumped into your bloodstream. But beh. Yeah. Marc and Lauren and Kai-ou and I hopped in the Mini and sped off into the night, with only one goal: to bring back the ultimate conquest, the delightfully deliciously delicacies known as Krispy Kreme donuts. Ahh. And then we went bowling. And I won my game. Yey.
Fun.

- MORE RECOMENDED LISTENINGS.

~ The Black Mages, The Black Mages & The Black Mages II: The Skies Above
GODS OF VIDEO GAME MUSIC REMIXING. Take the greatest Final Fantasy music, mix it with synth-rockers, and just let it loose to the populous. And let Nobuo Uematsu compose the remixes too. Normally dont like synthesizers with my rock, but A) its nessecary for some of the rediculous parts, and B) it goes pretty well. And some of the exceptional tracks (Those Who Fight Further, Clash on the Big Bridge, Zeromus, Hunter's Chance) are bliss to us gamer geeks.
Awesomeness Factor: Highly Recommended

~ Various Composers, Project Majestic Mix - SQUAREDANCE
And another present for VG music fanatics... SQUAREDANCE does basically the same thing as The Black Mages, except replace "Final Fantasy music" with "Squaresoft music in general", and replace "synth-rockers" with "techno." Yeah. Don't normally like techno, but this is just interesting. Some of the remixes stay true to the original tracks, while others just go way, way, WAY off. But it's all good.
Awesomeness Factor: Recommended

~ Modest Mouse, The Moon & Antarctica
More indie rock from Modest Mouse. Rediculously moody. Frightingly morbid. Amazingly addictive. Catchy (yet creepy) lyrics? Check. Awesome guitar riffs and drums? Check. Diversity in songs? Check. Woot.
Awesomeness Factor: Listen First, Then Buy

~ Maroon 5, Songs About Jane
Forgot this on the last recommended listenings... songs to listen to no matter what your mood is. Pleasent lyrics along with masterful playing shall take you away... and I'd say more, but I'm tired as hell now. XD JUST LISTEN TO IT DAMMIT.

I'm that nice black dude who is friends with everyone, who dresses in Roca Wear and Nike, yet lives in the richest-assed neighborhood ever, that listens to things varying from Coltrane to Modest Mouse to DJ Taka, and who is both emo and cheerful at the same time. In short, I'm just plain crazy.
