AN ANIME REVOLUTION

So, yeah, after Naruto kinda died away from my life, I didn't really watch too much anime for like... a coupla months. All sense of anime just left me. I because a shell of my former anime geek self, with only FMA sating my satisfaction for Japaneseness.

And then I experienced Samurai Champloo.

Dooood... the later episodes of that show are some screwed up shit, no jonesin'. (specially numbah 8, with the beatboxing samurai dude, and numbah 9 with the whole... laughing gas opium pipe-dream crucifixion thing.)

And it's got that groovy hip-hop soundtrack.

AND IT'S ABOUT FSKING SAMURAIS. WITH SWORDS.

I think it's my new religion. Expect fanart... like, a lot.

Oh yeah, schools almost up, whee... yah. Um. Out.

I'm that nice black dude who is friends with everyone, who dresses in Roca Wear and Nike, yet lives in the richest-assed neighborhood ever, that listens to things varying from Coltrane to Modest Mouse to DJ Taka, and who is both emo and cheerful at the same time. In short, I'm just plain crazy.
