LIFE BLOCK: PART TWO

Yeah, I haven't used this blog very much recently.

- The new HP book is interesting... it's amusing seeing the 5 and 6 year olds clamoring at the bookstores to buy it, reading the book, and stopping to ask their mothers and fathers what "slut" or "bitch" means. Harry Potter + mature darkness = happy me. And I won't spoil who dies in this one, but... wow. The shockness. And HP fanart shall be flowing from me, once I get over this art block.

- Same day I got Harry Potter, I also got Bleach Volumes 1 and 2 and the July edition of Wired magazine (the clerk at the register was surprised that I would go to Barnes & Noble at midnight for anything BUT Harry Potter...) Bleach is pretty bitchin', and I don't know what took me so long to start reading it. The Wired mag caught my attention, because the cover has an absofuckinglutely awesome Gorillaz spread, with Noodle rocking out on the Guitar, and all of the other members looming in the background. Greatest magazine cover ever.

- Speaking of awesome art, Satellite Soda has been revived, after being down for like... forever. Follow the link in me sidebar, and be dazzled by the gods of comic artistry.

- Insommnia! Haven't gotten more than 2 hours of sleep for the past... 3 days. Fun. Awesome. Today doesn't look any different, because its 12:33 A.M, and I'm spinning around in my chair like a 4-year old on a Cap'n Crunch binge.

That'll do for now.

I'm that nice black dude who is friends with everyone, who dresses in Roca Wear and Nike, yet lives in the richest-assed neighborhood ever, that listens to things varying from Coltrane to Modest Mouse to DJ Taka, and who is both emo and cheerful at the same time. In short, I'm just plain crazy.
