HOLY CRAP! (SONG OF NOW)

I fell down in the desert baby, yeah
I had nothing but a peice of paper, oh yeah,
I had to write something down,
And I found myself alone, then I let go of everything,
Into another dimension

Purple haze is in the sky,
See the angels wicked eye
All these things we must try
'Till we see the reasons why, oh yeah

Lightning crash on the hill tonight, (yeah)
I got a feeling everything is gonna be alright
Then a horse came running to me
Said we're gonna go to the sanctuary
Then a storm began to blow,
Into another dimension.

Purple haze is in the sky,
See the angels wicked eye
All these things we must try
'Till we see the reasons why, oh yeah

I got lost in the desert baby, yeah
I found temples made out of paper, oh yeah
I had to write something down
But then I found myself alone
Then I let go of everything
Into another dimension

A fresh new blast from the past. Check them out.

An actual update with actual real life stuff will actually come after D.C.

Actually.

~meh!~

EDIT: Oooh, check them out now.

EDIT AGAIN: There's also a kickass live show on Google Video, but its 50 motherfucking minutes long.

Watch if you like.

YET ANOTHER EDIT: Holy shipshakes Batman, they're coming to the Cat's Cradle on June 7th too!

I think that I like this band.

On par with like my obsession with the Decemberists when I found them last year.

I'm that nice black dude who is friends with everyone, who dresses in Roca Wear and Nike, yet lives in the richest-assed neighborhood ever, that listens to things varying from Coltrane to Modest Mouse to DJ Taka, and who is both emo and cheerful at the same time. In short, I'm just plain crazy.
